A horse on a toilet. A horse lifting weights. A horse in a wetsuit, underwater, in full scuba gear, for no stated reason. They arrive on the feed somewhere past midnight, between a cooking video and a man shouting about protein, and they do not explain themselves.

The captions were always the same. Horses don't stop. They keep going. Nobody knows who wrote it first. It gets reposted with the spelling wrong and it works better that way.

By the time anyone thought to make a coin out of it, the horses had already done the hard part. Millions of views. No brand, no roadmap, no owner. Just a horse, showing up where a horse should not be, over and over, until it stopped being funny and started being something else.
